About Me

My name is Tracey Baker and I am a fully accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Hypnotherapist. I have been practicing for several years from my home and have also visited clients in theirs. I offer a confidential, non-judgemental space for my clients to explore and understand whatever they need to at their own pace and own agenda.

My counselling approach is Integrative, which means I draw on different ways of working with my client for their particular need, always developing a solid and trusting relationship in mind. I have worked extensively with the Stroke Association providing support for both victims of stroke and their carers who, at times, have needed even more support. And I have also worked with the Daisy Programme, in Watton, Norfolk who provide support for victims of domestic violence.

In addition to my training and experience and my friendly down to earth nature I will help you feel at ease. Along the way to leading a more fulfilling life there will undoubtedly be ups and downs but ultimately my aim is to help you start to lead the life you deserve. It is my hope you will look forward to our sessions and having me share your journey.

My own experiences of confronting and surviving personal challenges have allowed me to value the importance of counselling. I believe that having the space to talk through your issues, to feel accepted and not judged, can be invaluable. Working together in an atmosphere of safety and trust, counselling offers the chance to explore, understand, and change your life.

Counselling and Hypnotherapy provides the support you need to help find your way towards a better life. I can help guide you in making lasting and positive changes in your life.

My focus is to offer you a place where you feel heard and accepted for who you are. Being seen, heard and understood is important to our emotional well-being. I believe that a good relationship between myself and my client is the basis for therapy to be effective and I offer a genuine, down to earth and confidential space for you to explore your concerns or worries. Sometimes our problems can become too difficult to deal with alone or it may feel too hard to share our feelings with those close to us, and having a space to talk and explore what is troubling you can be a deeply healing experience.

I provide you with an opportunity to explore your own self and how you relate to others. This process can be inspiring, fulfilling and challenging and give you a deeper awareness of who you are and how you can become the person you want to be.

Even when life feels out of control it is possible to feel like yourself again.
